Refunds & Cancellation

1. Free trial
The first 7 days are free. You will not be charged during the trial. If you cancel during the trial, you are not charged at all.
2. How to cancel
Cancel at any time, self-service: open the Stripe Customer Portal from your account settings ("Manage subscription"). Cancellation stops the next renewal; you keep full access until the end of the current paid period. No cancellation fee.
3. EU right of withdrawal (14-day cooling-off period)
Under EU Directive 2011/83/EU (and Hungarian Govt. Decree 45/2014. (II.26.)), consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the date of subscription.
Exception — digital content/service started at your request: By starting to access the content during the 14-day period, you expressly request that we begin performance immediately and acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once the digital service has fully commenced (Art. 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU). This waiver is confirmed at the point of checkout.
Parental consent note: The account holder is always the parent or guardian (18+). The right of withdrawal belongs to and is waived by the adult account holder, not the child beneficiary. Payments are processed through Stripe Managed Payments; Sold through Link, LLC (a Stripe company) is the seller and merchant of record and processes all payments and any applicable refunds, with Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. acting as payment processor, in accordance with EU consumer law.
Note: The 7-day free trial means you can evaluate the service without charge before the paid period begins, reducing the practical impact of this exception.
4. Refunds
As the service is provided immediately on subscription:
- We generally do not issue refunds for the current billing period once it has started.
- If a billing error occurred (e.g., duplicate charge, technical fault), contact us at hello@funtoonia.com and we will resolve it promptly and fairly, in line with applicable consumer law and Stripe's policies.
- Refunds, where applicable, are processed via Stripe to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.
5. Price changes
We will give reasonable advance notice of any price change. You may cancel before the new price takes effect. If you do not cancel, the new price applies from the next renewal.
6. Account termination by us
We may suspend or terminate accounts for serious breach of the Terms of Service, with notice where practicable. In such cases, a pro-rata refund for the unused portion may be considered at our discretion.
